The NMCDC is rounding up some volunteers to come help with a collaborative project that is happening as a part of this weekend's Neighborhood Cleanup.

In collaboration with the North-Missoula Community Development Corporation, Watershed Consulting, and with support from the Montana Urban and Community Forestry Association and Trees for Missoula,the Poverello is planting new boulevard trees!

Three lovely new boulevard trees (Turkish Filberts) will be planted on Friday June 12th. The existing trees will be pruned on Saturday June 13th as a part of the Poverello Center Neighborhood Cleanup.

Come be a part of this project by helping us remove weeds, especially invasive Siberian Elm saplings, from the Poverello grounds. This will be followed by a short pruning tutorial at 12:30.
